What is the purpose of the site?
evolveyourfishing.com.au was conceived due to the apparent lack of up-to-the-minute information relating to sports fishing in the Snowy Mountains. The region boasts some of the best waters in the country, arguably the World, and like other famous places, we thought it was about time someone put together a website that celebrates the places, opportunities and people who make this area such a great place to visit and to fish.

What information does the site include?
The most important aspect of the site is that it offers all anglers an opportunity to exchange information and to use the site as a one-stop place to plan their next visit. The Local Knowledge section of the site includes maps, detailed information on each of the main waters (put together with insight from locals) and the latest reports on what’s happening. We are very mindful not to be giving away ‘secret’ spots, but rather we want to give anglers not so familiar to the area a starting point and help them discover what a great place the Snowy Mountains is. In addition to this there are regional listings of services that visitors may need, such as take-away stores, accommodation, fishing guides and more.
We have also brought together some of the best and most respected fishing writers and guides in Australia to give their insights into what makes the Snowys tick. We encourage you to send us any Snowys related articles, photos, video links or reports that you have created to help us make this the best grass roots sports fishing site in the country.

Who owns the site?
This website has been developed by a team of passionate fishermen who either live in or love the Snowy Mountains. Have a look at the About us page to find out more.

Can I buy gear on the site?
The online store is well on the way and we are aiming to open that section of the site very soon. The shop is focussed on supplying top quality gear at great prices. Not every conceivable brand or model, just what we know is great value, enjoyable, dependable and proven out on the water. We are confident that our prices and delivery will be highly competitive and the store features will be everything you would expect from a fully secure online store.
